General Information for those attending NEC Meetings
Information for those attending NEC Meetings, unless anything is different for a particular meeting, these details will apply.
BACH values all Regional Chairs and Officers attendance at NEC meetings. Please book online as early as possible. We hold ten hotel rooms and release the unsold rooms on Friday, early pm before the meeting. These rooms are paid directly to the hotel by BACH and include breakfast.
If you are staying overnight, you are invited to join other committee members for an evening meal at a pub near the hotel, this is paid for by BACH.
BACH pays travel expenses for those whose college will not. Please try to use public transport booking early for lower prices. If you need to drive, BACH reimburses mileage at a maximum of 40p per mile. All expenses must be claimed on the BACH Expenses Form. Expenses Claim Form Update Jan 2019

Finance and Membership Committee 18.30 to 19.30 the evening before the NEC
Evening meal – meet at Reception at 19.30
The NEC meeting. 09.30 to 15.30.
Make sure you have the key dates booked. If you are Vice-Chair or Secretary please hold the NEC meetings in case your Chair cannot attend. Let your College knows you will or may be away on these dates.

We email out the paperwork in advance. If you use a device on the day for these please download them prior to attending the meeting. If not please print these papers for your own use. We do not provide copies at the meetings as it reduces our costs and waste.
