About BACH

We are a membership organisation dedicated to representing those who provide training and education in construction and the built environment.

Our members plan, manage and deliver training to young people and adults across a range of construction crafts and technical professions. Our network includes further education colleges, independent training providers, adult and community organisations, and trade and employer partners who support the development of skills across the sector.

We have a team of national Directors and Officers who volunteer their skills, expertise and industry knowledge. They are supported by our network of 10 regional officers, who coordinate meetings and activities across the country. They network, share best practice and arrange CPD.

We arrange two annual national conferences; a one day CPD event in November, and a national two day conference in March that brings together our entire membership and wider network. Our conferences cover policy updates and Curriculum and quality matters, with keynote speeches from sector leaders, as well as workshops and networking events.

BACH is a national voice for our members. We campaign on funding, policy, and curriculum changes, communicating with government departments that influence skills and training.

We are a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. The income we generate through membership fees and sponsorship is invested back to our members.
